SWA ARCHITECTS, a certified Minority Business Enterprise, was established in 1985 to provide architectural design, planning, and consulting services in a fully integrated manner to health care, industrial, and commercial clients. Our strong focus on client service has led us to think of project delivery not just in terms of modifying the physical environment but as a framework for developing and maintaining client relationships. A solid and loyal base of regular clients and the amount of new business obtained through client referrals demonstrate our success in pursuing this approach.

Our scope of expertise encompasses not only comprehensive master planning/programming, strategic planning, design-build, and new hospitals, but also the expansion, remodeling and renovation of existing facilities.

With LEED Accredited Professionals and registered architects, SWA brings together extensive collective experience in the design, master planning and programming of complicated medical facilities. Our experience with complex programs and issues also serves us well on the many remodeling and expansion projects that we undertake which involve highly specialized departments, programs and services. SWA’s staff has experience in a variety of other projects as well, including high tech biomedical laboratories, industrial and transportation design projects.
